We are pleased to confirm that the 2017-18 East Suffolk Report, a snapshot of activities and outcomes in the last financial year, has now been published.

The report reflects our achievements against key projects and ambitions contained within the East Suffolk Business Plan.

Speaking in the foreword for the Report, Cllrs Ray Herring and Mark Bee, Leaders of Suffolk Coastal and Waveney District said:

“Having published the first ever joint East Suffolk Annual Report last year, we now reach another landmark, with our final report as two separate, sovereign councils. We are incredibly excited and proud that from April 2019, a new council for east Suffolk will begin operation, delivering vital services to communities from Lowestoft in the north to Felixstowe in the south; excited because of the great challenges ahead and proud because of an achievement which is among the very first in the country.

“2017-18 was another hugely important year for our partnership and while a huge amount of work has gone in to ensuring as smooth a transition as possible to the new council, our primary focus has been our ongoing commitment to improving outcomes for our communities.”
