The organisers of this year's fete have asked us to remind you that the fete is this Tuesday, 18th June.
We had some moments of reflection at All Saints on 6th June to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to not only ensure our freedom but to also liberate Europe from oppression by bringing to an end the Second World War.
We were pleased to welcome some new faces visit the Rural Coffee Caravan when it came to Saxtead earlier this month, including our local PCSO Christian.
We had a good visit from the Rural Coffee Caravan again last week, and our local PCSO even popped by to see residents.
We had very interesting Annual Meetings last week.
We received reports from local organisations during the Annual Parish Meeting and we reviewed our policies, year-end accounts and auditor's report during our Annual General Meeting of the Parish Council.
We are pleased to welcome the Iceni Car Club to the Old Mill House on Bank Holiday Monday, from 11am-4pm. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from the pub and others are welcome to bring their classic vehicles too.
We are pleased to confirm that the Coffee Caravan will be in Saxtead again from 2pm- 4pm on Wednesday 16th May. It will be parked outside the pub and has a whole host of information and advice on board as well as a friendly face and of course hot drinks and light refreshments.
