The Old Mill House at Saxtead Green is a 17th Century Inn with significant character and a warm and friendly atmosphere, occupying such a large plot that it’s an intrinsic part of the green itself and in sight of the famous old posthouse windmill. The pleasant old market town of Framlingham and its historic castle is only a mile and a half away, on Suffolk’s finest tourist route.

The Inn, which has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and is kept ultra clean, has ample parking and is virtually surrounded by an attractive garden. It is synonymous with good food and not just for its excellent carvery served 7 days a week, lunchtimes and evenings. The Old Mill House likes to appeal to the adventurous and promotes regular blackboard specials full of imagination and yet followed through in time honored tradition. Dining parties of up to 40, including wedding receptions, can be accommodated in the restaurant, and the garden is superb for family days out, with a good play area and plenty of seating.
