18 May 2012 -- The toilets on the A1120 are now open again on Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holidays only. Whilst pleased that toilets will be available for visitors to Saxtead Mill when it is open, the Parish Council are pressing for the toilets to be reopened every day as in the past. It was not the wish of the Parish Council that the toilets were to be closed, nor was the Parish Council consulted in the decision. The District Council representatives have been informed of this and representations continue to be made to the District Council who manage the toilets. Police are monitoring the facility. If you believe you have evidence of any illicit activities or damage to be taking place you are advised to contact the Police by telephoning 101.
