A popular photo competition celebrating the beauty of East Suffolk is returning for a third year.
Local businesses are invited to a breakfast event taking place this month to learn more about how they can prepare for Brexit.

Earlier this year, the Suffolk Waste Partnership - which comprises Suffolk County Council and the district and borough councils - took the difficult decision to remove cartons and Tetra-paks from the list of materials that could be placed in household recycling bins. New industry regulations require cartons to be sorted separately from cardboard and it has been decided this is not a viable option.

Our September Festival, will feature the diverse skills and talents of our creative residents to a wider audience. A little over a year ago, two of us were chatting as we cleaned the church, bemoaning the lack of activities to occupy children during services, but mainly expressing our surprise and delight at the range of talented people in the village. From this snatched conversation the idea of a celebratory festival was born; an honest attempt to discover and celebrate not the talents of the gifted few, but all those skills which make everyday life so pleasant.
